Terms of use

Effective from 11 October 2026

These terms govern the use of the Deoba application (the "service"). By signing up and using the service you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

1. Provider

The service is provided by [naziv firme], [adresa], tax ID (PIB) [PIB], registration number (MB) [MB] (the "provider"). Contact: [e-mail].

2. What Deoba is

Deoba tracks working time, splits billable work across several of your companies, prepares invoices and keeps track of revenue limits. It is meant for sole proprietors and companies, not for consumers.

3. Account

  • An account can be opened by an adult authorised to accept these terms on behalf of their business.
  • Whoever opens the account owns it. The owner invites team members, decides what they can do and is responsible for how they use it.
  • The data you enter must be accurate. Keep your password secret and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the service against the law or to issue false documents;
  • try to access other people's accounts or data;
  • disrupt the service, overload it with automated requests or get around its limits;
  • resell the service without the provider's written consent.

5. Your data

The data you enter (companies, clients, projects, time, invoices) belongs to you. The provider uses it only to provide the service to you.

The account owner can download an export of all data and delete the account at any time in Settings. Deleting removes the account, all users, data and files at once and for good, except from backups, which are deleted within 30 days. Invoices sent to SEF stay on SEF.

You are responsible for keeping invoices and business books as the law requires. Download an export before deleting the account.

6. Processing personal data on your behalf

When you enter personal data about other people into Deoba (for example team members or clients' contact persons), you are the controller and the provider is the processor under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For that processing the provider undertakes to:

  • process the data only to provide the service and on your instructions, as given by these terms and by your actions in the app;
  • make sure people with access to the data are bound to confidentiality;
  • apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including encrypted connections, access control and backups;
  • engage only the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy, and tell you about any change at least 15 days ahead so you can object or delete the account;
  • help you respond to requests from the people the data is about, and tell you without delay about a personal data breach;
  • delete the data when the account is deleted, as described in section 5;
  • make available the information you need to check these obligations are met.

You are responsible for having a legal basis for the data you enter.

7. Tax and accounting information

Revenue limits, warnings, the KPO book, VAT notes, allocation suggestions and other calculations in Deoba are aids, based on the regulations as the provider understands them. They do not replace advice from an accountant or tax adviser.

You are responsible for the content, accuracy and legality of the invoices you issue and for meeting your tax obligations. Check the invoice before issuing it. Deoba sends invoices to SEF on your behalf, with your API key.

8. Availability and changes

The provider aims to keep the service running without interruption but doesn't guarantee it. The service may be unavailable at times because of maintenance, faults or circumstances outside the provider's control. The provider may change and improve the service's features.

9. Price

The service is currently free. The provider will tell you at least 30 days ahead before introducing paid plans. If you don't accept the price, you can download an export and delete the account.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the provider isn't liable for lost profit, data loss caused by your actions, fines or taxes resulting from relying on the calculations in section 7, or indirect damage. The provider's total liability is limited to the amount you paid it in the last 12 months. These limits don't apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

11. Termination

You can delete the account at any time. The provider may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice, unless urgent action is needed to prevent harm. Before closing it, the provider will give you reasonable time to download an export.

12. Changes to these terms

The provider will tell you about material changes to these terms by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you are deemed to accept the changes.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. Disputes are decided by the competent court in Beograd.

These terms exist in Serbian and English. If they differ, the Serbian version prevails.
